The K&N 57-3022-2 performance air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and housing on 1998-2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Z28 SS and Pontiac Firebird Formula Trans Am models with 5.7L V8 LS1 engines. It reduces intake restriction smooths airflow and straightens incoming air for more power acceleration and throttle response across the RPM range. Dyno-tested to deliver 9.81 HP gains at 5512 RPM with a high-flow filter heat shield and mandrel-bent tube directing cool air to the throttle body.
